Welcome to SkoolofCode, a web-based service platform that instructs the young learners how to code now available at www.skoolofcode.us . This privacy policy (“Privacy Policy”) is part of the terms of use agreement of the web site(s) SkoolofCode.us, SkoolofCode.com, SkoolofCode.in, and SkoolofCode.org , applications, and other web sites (“web sites”) produced by the owners of these web sites, PotKinPie LLC. (“SkoolofCode” or “we”). SkoolofCode respects your concerns about privacy.

When you use these web sites, as a user, you agree to our collection, use, disclosure, and transfer of information as described in this Privacy Policy, which the user declares to have read, understood and accepted when registering as such. Our Offerings include instructor-led online courses that teach young learners how to code. We offer these in small group class setting as well as individual private classes. We may collect or you may provide you and your child’s information, including personally identifiable information, in the process of using our Offerings, or other services we may offer from time to time and you may subscribe to.

You may provide your Personal Information (“Personal Information”) to us when you choose to use our web sites or Offerings. Because we change our Offerings and features from time to time, the information you provide us also may change. The following are some examples of situations in which you may provide information to us:
• Licensing, downloading, or subscribing to our Offerings;
• Signing up for email alerts or subscribing to receive other information;
• Complete a survey;
• Using a mobile device, such as a phone, to access our Offerings or communicate with us;
• Contacting us, such as by email, including for technical support or customer service; and
• By switching on the recording feature during the classes that records your facial and voice features.
The Personal Information we collect from you will vary depending on your interactions with our web sites and use of our Offerings.

We may use your Personal Information to register and service your account, update your instructor or applicant profile, contact you for questions and feedback, enable students or instructors to search for you, verify information you provide us, help protect the safety and integrity of the web site users, and provide targeted promotional messages or content on the web site, via email (for which you have an option to opt-out) or other advertisements on our web site or third party websites.

This Privacy Policy does not apply to websites, Offerings, or applications not owned or controlled by SKoolOfCode, even if we link to their sites or they link to our site.
Children’s Privacy
SKoolOfCode is committed to protecting the privacy of children and abide by the provisions of the Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA). Though we do not intentionally collect Personal Information from persons under the age of 18 (“children” or “child”), our Offerings are mostly intended for children. In registering children for our Offerings, we always require the parent’s or the legal guardian’s explicit consent to register children for our Offerings. This is done through submission of a signed Parental Consent Agreement. Upon submitting such consent, the parent or guardian may create an account for, assist with registration, and provide self-reported Information on behalf of his or her child. The parent or the guardian assumes full responsibility for the actions of the child in using our Offerings. We require the parents or guardians to ensure that the information that they provide us about their children is kept secure and that the information submitted is accurate.
As noted in the Parental Consent Agreement, you consent to SKoolOfCode, its agents or learning partners to video record the classes attended by the Students that may contain your child’s Personal Information such as the face images, voices, etc. that the Student may consent to recording during the classes. Further you also consent to SKoolOfCode’s use of class session video recordings for the purpose of sharing with parent groups, feedback, instructor training, sales and marketing, usage reporting, and for other relevant business purposes, as they deem appropriate.
If you are the parent or guardian of a child and you believe that we have inadvertently received Personal Information about your child, please contact us as described in the How to Contact Us section of this Privacy Policy and we will delete the information, if any, from our records.
In the event that SKoolOfCode is notified or becomes aware that our Offerings have been used, an account is created by a child, or we store information of a child without the consent of a parental or a guardian, SKoolOfCode shall be and is authorized to delete, such account or information in its entirety. SKoolOfCode also reserves the right to revoke any license to use its Offerings or an account used by a child without the appropriate consent of a parent or guardian.
Information Transfer
When you use our web sites, you acknowledge that we may transfer information about you as described in this policy. However, we will treat your Personal Information subject to the protections described in this policy.
• Registration information
When you create a SKoolOfCode Student Account (for your child) or when your child creates an account with your consent, you will be required to provide certain Personal Information, which may include the child’s first and last name, a user name (which can be the child’s email address), a password, the country in which you reside, gender, time zone, phone number, or other information.
When you create a SKoolOfCode Instructor Account (for Instructors), you will be required to provide certain Personal Information, which may include your first and last name, a user name (which can be your email address), a password, the country in which you reside, your gender, your time zone, your current job, or other information that you provide to us in your profile, which may include: your time availability, location and address, pictures and videos you choose to post, your phone number, and your Skype account, etc.
• Recordings
For prospective Instructors, we may conduct telephone and video interviews, including mock classes, and we may record such interviews and mock classes. The purpose of the recording is to expedite the interview and facilitate the Instructor evaluation processes. The recorded audios and videos will be kept strictly confidential in our servers for a commercially reasonable period of time, and may share with prospective students or their parents. We may also record the audio and video interviews of the classes, Q&A sessions, etc. including actual classes experience. The purposes of the recording may include evaluation of Instructors, student progress, and enhance the future classroom effectiveness, collaboration, and facilitating the Instructor and class evaluation processes. The recorded audios and videos will be kept strictly confidential in our servers for a commercially reasonable period of time, and may share with prospective students, parent groups, and for other purposes as required.
We may disclose the recorded audios and videos to the public or share the recorded videos with any third parties as needed without seeking your further and specific consent. Classroom Videos and their contents recorded during the classes are the sole and exclusive property of SKoolOfCode and Instructors do not have any permission or right to use such video recordings for any purpose other than for use with the business objectives of SKoolOfCode, only as requested by the SKoolOfCode and only with the prior written consent of SKoolOfCode.
SKoolOfCode may use such video recording for any purpose as it may deem appropriate and Instructors consent to such use by SKoolOfCode without the need for any notice to Instructors.
• Testimonials
We may post customers’ testimonials on our web sites, which may contain Personal Information from you. Once you accept this Privacy Policy, you give us your consent to publish any testimonial, post, comments, and any other representations you have made through our web site or our Offerings, along with your name if provided. BY CREATING AN INSTRUCTOR OR A STUDENT APPLICANT ACCOUNT AND AGREEING TO INTERVIEW WITH US, YOU CONSENT TO OUR RECORDING THE TELEPHONE AND VIDEO INTERVIEWS AND USE THEM AS DESCRIBED IN HERE.
• Social media features
Our web sites include may include social media features and widgets, such as the Facebook "Like" and "Share" buttons. These features may collect your IP address, the URL of the page you are visiting on our Site, and may set a cookie to enable the feature to function properly. Social media features and widgets are either hosted by a third party or hosted directly on our web site. Your interactions with these features are governed by the privacy policies of their providers. Your Personal Information may be stored in our databases, which is access restricted to only key members of our company. • Sharing with registered students and parents
In order to increase our class-booking rate, we share with registered users (e.g., students and their parents) certain Personal Information about the Instructors included in your profile. We may also include in your profile any company reviews you have posted on our web site. If you post information in any of our online forum, that information may be viewed by any visitors to our web site or registered users who accesses the forum.
• Background Checks
When you create your Applicant Account or Instructor Account, you authorize us to utilize third party service providers to use your Personal Information to scan on a variety of sources, which may include, but are not limited to, national criminal databases, sex offender registries, certain media streams, terrorist watch lists, criminal and fugitive watch lists, fraud watch lists, law enforcement reports, and other data to perform verification checks on the Personal Information you provide us. The results of any Verification checks will be made available to us. For the legitimate business purpose of protecting the safety and integrity of the web site and Skoolofcode.com users, you also authorize us to utilize a third party consumer reporting agency to use your Personal Information to run periodic background checks on you when you register with us.
• Not use for profit (rent or sell)
Except as otherwise described in this Privacy Policy, we will not disclose, share, sell or rent Personal Information collected to third-party organizations for their direct marketing or promotional use without your consent, except that it may do so as part of a specific program or feature for which you will be notified and have the ability to opt-out.
